Habitante de Agua, 2017
The video-sculptural work of Habitante de Agua (Water-dweller) shows a ritual that occurs every day in the metropolitan waters of the Aburrá Valley. I expose the anonymous body of a street inhabitant in a fragmented manner, bathing in a ravine in the city of Medellín. Structured to confront the viewer, the sculpture reaches 2 meters tall, is comprised of four old, used television sets, supported by four handmade tables with recycled wood; It also has an audio that refers to a common home bathroom.
